Helping Women Feel Stronger, Healthier & More Confident in Midlife
As a midlife metabolic health specialist, I help women improve their health, strength, energy and confidence through practical, evidence-based nutrition and lifestyle coaching.
Many of the women I work with come to me during midlife, particularly throughout perimenopause and menopause, struggling with weight gain, low energy, changing body composition, sugar cravings and the feeling that the strategies that once worked for them no longer do. Hormonal changes during midlife can influence muscle mass, body composition, appetite, energy levels and blood sugar regulation, often leaving women feeling confused, frustrated and disconnected from their bodies.
My approach focuses on helping clients rebuild trust in their bodies, improve their health and create sustainable habits that fit real life. Rather than restrictive dieting or quick fixes, I combine nutrition, strength training and behaviour change strategies to support metabolic health, muscle mass, bone health and healthy ageing through the hormonal changes of midlife.
My coaching is designed to help women feel stronger physically and mentally while improving energy, confidence and overall wellbeing. Clients often tell me that what makes my approach different is that it is practical, realistic and sustainable. Together, we focus on building habits that support lasting change rather than temporary results.
I hold a Master’s Degree in Exercise and Nutrition Science, a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), a Bachelor of Science degree from University College Dublin (UCD), and a Higher Diploma in Business from the Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. This combination allows me to support clients not only through evidence-based nutrition and exercise strategies, but also by addressing the mindset and behavioural patterns that influence long-term health outcomes.
I am also a certified Advanced Mat Pilates Instructor with a particular interest in Strength Pilates for women in midlife, helping women build strength, maintain muscle mass, support bone health and improve overall health through movement and resistance training.
